Chohn traveled extensively as a “military brat,” before arriving in Texas in 1981.  A resident of Burleson, Johnson County, Texas, Chohn is engaged in local politics, plays guitar in the praise band at church, collects guitars, and is an avid football (Gig ‘em, Aggies!) and basketball fan.  Chohn is a staunch supporter of the Second and Fourth Amendments of the United States Constitution, a concealed carry permit holder, and responsible gun owner.  Chohn is married to Tara, and they live with their four dogs on a rural property just outside the city.
