Fredreck S. “Field” Hudgens has two decades of experience in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate and construction law, construction defects, business and corporate law, and a variety of other legal fields. He is a State of Texas compliant mediator and listed on the Texas Comptroller’s Arbitrator Registry. Mr. Hudgens has extensive real estate and construction law experience in the Houston and The Woodlands booming metropolitan areas. From title issues to development disputes, his litigation practice is uniquely suited to handle a wide variety of real estate and construction matters.

Mr. Hudgens graduated from South Texas College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. During law school, he was an Assistant Editor of the Corporate Law Review, showcasing his exceptional research and writing skills. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Texas A&M University.

After completing law school, Mr. Hudgens joined a prestigious law firm in Houston, where he honed his skills in commercial litigation and real estate law. He successfully represented numerous high-profile clients in contract disputes, real property matters, and construction litigation.

Recognizing his passion for real estate and construction law, Mr. Hudgens ventured into solo practice representing family owned and small businesses which allowed him to spend more time with his three children through their elementary through high school years.

Mr. Hudgens has a proven track record of handling complex civil litigation cases, including contract disputes, construction matters, business disputes and insurance claims. His strategic approach, meticulous preparation, and persuasive courtroom skills have consistently resulted in favorable outcomes for his clients.

With his comprehensive understanding of corporate legal issues, Mr. Hudgens provides strategic counsel to businesses of all sizes. He assists clients with entity formation, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, employment matters and shareholder/owner disputes.

Mr. Hudgens is an active member of the State Bar Association of Texas, Texas Aggie Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, and he regularly participates in legal seminars and conferences to stay abreast of the latest developments in his areas of practice. With this participation, he has been a member of the Texas Bar College for over ten years as he has completes no less than thirty hours of continuing legal education annually.

Mr. Hudgens is a licensed Texas real estate agent with TexasCRES and actively represents buyers and sellers as well as landlords and tenants.

Committed to giving back, Mr. Hudgens volunteers his time with local organizations and is a former city council person, board member and commissioner for various government entities in Tomball and Harris County, Texas.

Mr. Hudgens and his wife have three children and, although they are empty nesters, they enjoy traveling to visit their children. He enjoys Texas Aggie sports, playing golf, traveling, movies, good food and new restaurants.
