Gary M. Jewell

Gary Martin Jewell has engaged in a diverse trial practice for over 30 years. Gary presently represents clients in the broad range of business litigation, arbitration, and mediation and has significant experience in the areas of fiduciary duty, corporate governance, insurance, oil and gas, and securities litigation. He also has experience handling a variety of other matters including probate, intellectual property, products liability, personal injury, real estate, family, and employment law matters. Gary is also a trained mediator and is AV Peer Review Rated Preeminent by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Gary received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University at College Station, Texas in 1981 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law at San Antonio, Texas in 1990. Following law school, Gary served as the Briefing Attorney for Justice Michol O’Connor of the First District Court of Appeals, Houston, Texas.

Gary settled in Kingwood, Texas after bouncing around the globe as a “military brat.” He is married and has a daughter and a son – both of whom are “Aggies.” Along with being an avid sporting clays enthusiast, Gary enjoys recreational scuba diving, spearfishing, bird hunting, saltwater fishing – and much to the chagrin of his wife – computer gaming.
